Caring for Linen bought from Dream Furniture
Fabric consistency and availability: We use a lot of natural fabrics in our linen ranges.
With the beauty of natural fabrics, comes one disadvantage
Our mills cannot control colour consistency from one dye batch to another.
Please be aware that should purchases be made at different times, we cannot guarantee colour matches and therefore we are not able to assist with a refund or exchange.
Please also be aware that fabric stock availability is often out of our control. We usually don’t get any warning or notifcation of shortages, discontinuations and dye batch changes, prior to our next order placement. (Added to the trade strikes and custom delays, to add to our and your discomfort).
We will then introduce the most suitable alternate fabric available, to achieve the very best look we want for the story we have designed.
We thank you for your understanding in this regard.
Linen Care Instructions: We use a variety of fabrics, from different suppliers and with different compositions, to add interest in the range.
Therefore, we wash (40*C) and tumble dry our fabrics, prior to cutting - to do our best to ensure that our products remain in good shape after your first wash.
To look after your linens, don’t wash at temperatures higher than 40*C. Tumble drying is allowed, within limits. Keep in mind that tumble drying DOES shorten the lifespan of fabrics, but also adds a softer feel.
Be aware that some fabrics may still lose some colour – especially the darker dyes. Wash colours separately and always test for colour fastness prior to the washing.
Quilts CAN be washed and tumble dried – on their own, to prevent too many creases. Give it a good shake while it is still warm. Do NOT iron. The remaining creases will smooth out, as cottons do.
